Join us on Saturday, September 16 at 1 pm for an open hive at the WCB club yard in Newfane. This is our last open hive of the 2023 season!
We’ll inspect the club hive, check for mites, and discuss best practices for overwintering our bees. Come learn what you can do to help keep your bees alive through the winter! We’ll demonstrate how to wrap a hive and share winterizing tips and methods. Betterbee has a great 10-point checklist on winterizing. Check it out here.
