Join us on Saturday, June 10 at 1 pm for an open hive at the WCB club yard in Newfane!
We’ll do a general inspection of the hives and discuss what we find. We’ll also talk about swarms and do a varroa mite wash demonstration. And we will split one of our hives to create a nuc we will raffle off in July. Come learn (or remind yourself) how to do mite washes and a split. Bring some cash if you want to buy raffle tickets for the nuc!
Bring veils and wear proper shoes and clothing. Let us know ahead of time if you don’t have a veil, and we’ll bring extra.
