We have a busy month in March! WCB has not one, but two meetings for you! We’re offering one Zoom meeting and one in-person meeting.
WCB’s first meeting in March is a Zoom meeting on Tuesday, March 21 at 7 pm (Zoom link below – please pre-register). Atreya Manaswi will talk to us about small hive beetles (SHB), a pest we are starting to see more often here in Vermont. Atreya offers a cost-effective method of controlling SHB. He is a 10th-grade student in Orlando who has been involved in university-level honey bee conservation research for four years. Atreya has also written a wonderful children’s book called The Bee Story. Check it out!
The second meeting is in-person at the Moore Free Library in Newfane on Saturday, March 25 at 1 pm. Come learn about what’s next for the club and what’s happening in the bee world!
