Join us on Saturday, May 14 at 1 pm for an open hive at the WCB club yard in Newfane!
This event is open to WCB club members and Vermont Beekeepers Association (VBA) South Yard members*. Since the VBA South Yard in West Windsor is temporarily closed, come on down to Newfane to meet some new beekeepers!
This is our first hive inspection in 2022 at the club yard. We’ll do a general inspection of the hives and discuss what we find. We’ll also go over our mite mitigation plan and discuss apiary laws. Come learn (or remind yourself) how to do a spring evaluation and mite counts.
If you don’t know how to get to the club yard in Newfane, email us at weisbatty@gmail.com and we’ll give you directions. And if you are not a WCB member yet, we’ll sign you up at the open hive.
*Note that VBA South Yard members do not need to join WCB to attend the WCB open hive.
