We’ll vote in club officers\, then Hannah Whitehead\, Honey Bee Extension Educator at UMass Extension\, will talk to us about the results of a research study that focused on three different queen rearing methods. \n\n\n\nRoads to Royalty: Comparing Three Methods of Queen ProductionHannah Whitehead (UMass Extension) will share results from a recent research project\, which compared the quality of queens produced through three queen rearing methods (a traditional 10-day grafting method\, an abbreviated 48-hour grafting method\, and walk-away splits). This research was carried out in collaboration with two local queen breeders\, and was funded by a Northeast SARE Partnership Grant.
