Join us at our first Windham County Beekeepers (WCB) open hive of 2026! We will meet on Saturday, June 13 at 1:00 pm at Jeff Battaglini’s Marv yard in Wilmington. Jeff will demonstrate how to make splits and create a nuc.
If you do not know where the Marv yard is, please contact WCB at windhamcountybeekeepers@gmail.com, and we will give you directions. Bring your beekeeping protective equipment, including closed toe shoes. Let us know ahead of time if you don’t have a veil, and we’ll bring extra.
A friendly reminder: The club needs your support to pay for our speakers, meeting venues and operating costs. If you are not a member, join us! Individuals pay $10 a year to join WCB; families pay $15. Check out the Windham County Beekeepers website for more information. Let us know if you’d like to add something to any of the site pages.
Another reminder: Our club has received a donation of a beautiful quilt with a bee design. The dimensions are 57 1/2 x 68 1/4; it fits a twin or daybed and lies on top of a double bed or the back of a couch. We will hold a raffle; a $20.00 donation per ticket will secure your chance to own this one-of-a-kind quilt.
